Our client is a well-known and reputable financial institute. Due to the on-going IT expansion and network support required, we are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join the Network Infrastructure Team, undertaking an assisting role of designing, implementing, administrating and supporting network infrastructure and security related matters.

Requirements:

• University Degree holder majoring in information technology, computer science or related disciplines

• At least 5 years of relevant IT experience in network infrastructure administration and support

• Experience in working for sizable organisations

• Good knowledge and hand-on experience in:

• LAN/WAN networking equipment (e.g. Router and switches) and TCP/IP protocol

• Firewall

• Intrusion detection / prevention system (e.g. Cisco Firepower)

• Network packet capture and network traffic analysis (e.g. Wireshark)

• Any network security tools (e.g. Endpoint protection tools and Sandboxing)

• Good knowledge of VMware virtualization, Software-defined networking (SDN) and computer security vulnerabilities will be a plus

• Certifications on Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), information security (e.g. CISSP) or VMware virtualization will be a plus

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• A good team player with good communication skills
