Our client is a reputable and sizable corporation, and they are currently seeking a Network Security Engineer to join their network infrastructure team, responsible for project implementation, network administration and support, and network infrastructure related activities. The role will be in a team working environment along with a team size of eight; on-job training will be provided to the less experienced candidate with a good learning attitude. Good fundamental network experience along with a positive attitude at work and good interpersonal skill are the key successful factor for this position.

Requirements:

• Degree holder majoring in information technology, computer science, engineering or any related disciplines

• Minimum five (5) years of relevant IT experience in network administration and support

• Experience in either of these skills OR equivalent below:

• LAN/WAN networking equipment (e.g. Router and switches) and TCP/IP protocol

• Firewall

• Intrusion detection / prevention system (e.g. Cisco Firepower)

• Network packet capture and network traffic analysis (e.g. Wireshark)

• Any network security tools (e.g. Endpoint protection tools and Sandboxing)

• Good knowledge of VMware virtualization desired

• Certifications on CCNP or CCNA will be a plus

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• A good team player with good communication skills
